The Embassy 

Since June 2009 the Embassy of Italy in Seoul Italian Cultural Institute have moved in the Ilshin Building, located in the central district of Hannam dong, not far from UN Village.

The building that houses the Embassy has been very recently built with a modern and innovative design: a large glass wall reflects the surrounding environment and allows the building to perfectly fit in it. The building houses a permanent exhibition of Korean and foreign artworks, all selected with care and attention.

The Embassy of Italy is located on the third floor. Its various sections (consular section, commercial section, Institute of Culture) aim at providing the Italian and the foreign guests with the maximum of functionality. As such, it represents a significant progress both in terms of working conditions and aesthetic, and portrays a valid image of Italy in the XXI Century.
